Do you ever just feel down.. for no good reason really? That's me right now. I just want to curl up in my bed and sleep for a few days and then maybe I'd feel better. Nothing particularly bad is going on right now... just the usual stresses of kids (with an extra dose of 4 year old drama added in there right now - she's driving me NUTS!!), work, etc. I also feeling like I'm getting sick and have an on again off again sore throat. I just feel crappy. So, I'm not sure if this is making it harder for me to get back on track food-wise or if I am feeling crappy because I haven't been doing so hot with my program. But overall, I wish I could just snap out of it! I made great plans to get back on program yesterday as I wrote about but it didn't last past late afternoon. I just wanted to eat everything in sight!! This morning I almost didn't go work out either. I haven't missed a workout in forever so you know this is bad. But I went... didn't run today though, just did 35 min on the elliptical. I'm so scared that I'm not going to be able to get back on program! I wish I could JUST DO IT but it's not feeling quite that simple.
Blah.
Anyhow, sorry for the whining and complaining. I'm hoping to have the chance later on today to read a bunch of your blogs and find some motivation.

Everyone needs to whine a bit! It's easy to think about what you can't do when you're feeling down. Think about what you have ALREADY done! You'll be able to meet your goals! Good Luck
LOL-I'm having a hard time right now too. We can get through this! Tomorrow's the start of a new month. Think positive and think of all the reasons why you want to lose weight. Let's get on track together!
Sorry to hear you have the whinies. Sometimes, a good dose of bright sunlight helps. Other folks suggest massages, bubble baths, happy music. It's always the initiative that is hardest to muster, but just reading your accomplishments for April should help you!!
(((HUG)))
Hey.. that happens honey.
I haven't run in a while either... I"ve been busy walking though. Maybe you're bored a bit? RUnning doesnt do for me what it used to... i feel like I shoudl be abel to do more, but when I hit the treadmill, I just get TIRED faster, which is odd. The high is gone. I wanted to start outside running, but that waned too...
Just try your best honey.. You've done so awesome. Keep plugging away! there are 10000's of reasons why getting back on track is the right choice; your'e smart. You'll do the right thing.
How has your weather been? I agree with Ready Maid, get some sunshine, put on some music, dance around and do it in a goofy way. That can help distract the kids sometimes. ;-) Hang in there, spring is HERE! We have had hummingbirds move in - yay!

Sounds like you need a JOLT!! Can you think of Just One Little Thing that you can change that might get you excited again? Maybe it's a different form of exercise, or journaling, or trying on old (too big) clothes? You're doing great; don't let this little blip overwhelm you.
I definitely feel like that sometimes. its perfectly normal. sometimes life just gets you down. I think you are doing great and you have a lot to be proud and excited by.
Oh yea..there are soooooooooo many days i want to curl up in bed..so many..Get some good rest and take it slow...you don't have to be PERFECT everyday...and also..look how well you have done already. It feels good when you do well..so rest up..and you'll be back in no time.{{hugs}} I just looked at your comments--i love Cammy's JOLT idea!!
I've had similar things happen to me on my weight lose adventures. Good luck and stick to it. If you don't you won't lose.
